On January 18th, the Postgraduate Program in Human Movement Sciences (PPGCMH) began a new management cycle. Professor Natáli Valim Oliver Bento Torres assumed the coordination of the Program, with Professor Mauricio Oliveira Magalhães as vice-coordinator.

The event also marked the farewell of Professor Daniel Alvarez Pires from the coordination, concluding his term leading the PPGCMH. The academic community recognizes and appreciates his dedication and contributions during his time in the role.

The meeting symbolized the continuity of institutional work and recognition of those who contributed to its consolidation, reinforcing the commitment to collaboration and the strengthening of future actions.

The Graduate Program in Human Movement Sciences (PPGCMH/UFPA) received a grade of 4 in the CAPES Quadrennial Evaluation, a result that recognizes the consistency and quality of the work developed by the Program in teaching, research, human resource training and scientific production.

In the CAPES evaluation scale, the grade expresses the program's performance based on criteria that include, among other aspects, the course proposal, the qualification of the faculty, intellectual production, student training and the insertion and impact of academic activities. A grade of 4 indicates a consolidated quality standard in stricto sensu graduate studies, demonstrating academic maturity, regularity of results, and institutional strengthening of the Program in the national context.
