Last December 17th, students from the Postgraduate Program in Human Movement Sciences (PPGCMH) had the honor of participating in an enriching lecture with Professor Ferdinando Carvalho, renowned specialist from UNIVASF. With the theme "Application of multivariate networks in health research", the event addressed innovative and fundamental issues for the development of scientific research, especially in the health context.

During his presentation, Professor Ferdinando highlighted the importance of multivariate networks as powerful tools for analyzing and interpreting complex data in health research. He explored how these models can be used to identify patterns, interactions and relationships between different variables, contributing to significant advances in studies.

We thank Professor Ferdinando Carvalho for his valuable contribution to our program and the PPGCMH students for their active participation and interest shown. We will continue to promote more events that expand academic knowledge and encourage interdisciplinary reflection, fundamental for the training of our students.
