The Graduate Program in Human Movement Sciences (PPGCMH/UFPA) received a grade of 4 in the CAPES Quadrennial Evaluation, a result that recognizes the consistency and quality of the work developed by the Program in teaching, research, human resource training and scientific production.
In the CAPES evaluation scale, the grade expresses the program's performance based on criteria that include, among other aspects, the course proposal, the qualification of the faculty, intellectual production, student training and the insertion and impact of academic activities. A grade of 4 indicates a consolidated quality standard in stricto sensu graduate studies, demonstrating academic maturity, regularity of results, and institutional strengthening of the Program in the national context.
One particularly relevant aspect is that this result was achieved in the first Quadrennial Evaluation of the PPGCMH, reinforcing the solidity of the academic planning and the effectiveness of the actions implemented since the Program's creation.
We appreciate the institutional support that enables and strengthens the activities of the PPGCMH, as well as the collective commitment of faculty, students, alumni, and technical-administrative staff, in addition to the institutional and scientific partnerships that support the Program's actions. The result reaffirms the PPGCMH's commitment to the training of highly qualified professionals, the production of relevant knowledge and the contribution to scientific and social development, in line with the contemporary demands of the field.
The PPGCMH celebrates this achievement and continues working to continuously improve its actions, expand its impact and further strengthen its academic and formative performance.
